Detailed description of Rothland Golf Course
Rothland Golf Course, is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Akron, New York. Rothland Golf Course has three 9-hole golf courses. These courses can be combined in pairs to form three different 18 hole course challenges. The nine-hole courses are The Red Course, The White Course, and The Gold Course.
Rothland Golf Course opened for play in 1969 with the Red and White nines. The Gold Course nine was added in 1987. The courses were designed by Bill Ross.
The Rothland Golf Course White Course plays to a par-36 and 3,198 yards.
The Rothland Golf Course Red Course plays to a par-36 and 3,422 yards.
The Rothland Golf Course Gold Course plays to a par-36 and 3,157 yards.
Rothland Golf Course is a privately owned 27-hole public facility with many of the same amenities that you would find at a private course. For your 18 hole round, the Red/Gold combination will play to just under 6600 yards and a par 72. The now more challenging Gold/White combination will play over 6300 yards, par 72, and the Red/White will be the longest of all three combinations playing over 6600 yards.

It had rained a few days prior to our play. The course was wet(balls plugged in fairway). I have played this course before and have always found it challenging. I will be playing this course again.

Course is in good shape and well maintained. During the week it was fairly open, however it does get very busy as summer goes along and tee times get harder to get. Should definitely call for a tee time....they prefer it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was in April. The day was nice, but the course was wet. No ROLL what so ever. But, it's nice course, I play it two or three times a year, just enough distance and challenges. I prefer Arrowhead, but you get what you pay for. It's a good warm up course.
